Energisme announces the appointment of Thierry Chambon to the Board of Directors of the Smart Buildings Alliance (SBA)
Energisme, a leading French provider of digital energy and water management solutions, is delighted to announce the appointment of Thierry Chambon, our CEO, to the Board of Directors of the Smart Buildings Alliance (SBA) – Smart Buildings Alliance for Smart Cities. This appointment highlights Thierry Chambon’s and Energisme’s long-standing commitment to innovation and progress in the field of smart buildings.
Since its inception in 2012, the Smart Buildings Alliance (SBA) has been dedicated to making smart buildings a valuable asset for communities, businesses, and residents. With its unique cross-functional approach, openness, and diverse membership of over 450 companies and organizations, the SBA concentrates its efforts on three key areas: Smart Home (collective residential housing), Smart Building (tertiary buildings), and Smart City (smart cities and territories). For over a decade, the SBA has been committed to responsible digital technology, advocating for technological neutrality and promoting system interoperability, equipment and infrastructure sharing, openness, availability, quality, security, and data governance.
With over 30 commissions and working groups, the SBA brings together professionals from all trades in a collaborative effort to develop reference frameworks, approaches, and innovative solutions. The SBA is responsible for creating the Ready 2 Services (R2S) reference framework and its variations, as well as the BIM for Value reference framework.
